Installing
Insert the DVD in your DVD-ROM. Make sure to set your computer to boot from CD/DVD first, or choose the boot drive from the BIOS boot menu (if you have one). Once you are prompted to press a key for boot options, press F8. It is preferably to boot in verbose mode so that you can see what errors you get, if you get any verbose mode will make it easier for you to find a solution for it. For that, at the prompt type -v and ENTER. The installer should start. [/align][align=center]

Setting up your hard-drive.
It is preferably to have a separate HDD for installing Leopard on especially if you are dual booting between Windows (or another O/S, i.e. Linux, etc) and Mac.
If you have a Leopard-only HDD:
Open up from the menubar on the top of the screen. Go to UTILITIES → Disk Utility, choose the disk you want to install Leopard on, go to Partition, and look for Options. Click it, and select MBR. Then apply the desired partition type (choose from the list). Do an erase on the disk using the Mac OS Extended (Journaled) portioning scheme.
Once you are done, close Disk Utilities. If the last screen you were at was the one where you have to choose the disk to install Leopard on, then choose the disk you have just `fixed or created` with Disk Utilities, and click the button to continue.
Once you get to the final screen, with the INSTALL button, click on the CUSTOM button, on the left of the screen. Now comes the fun part [img]http://img5.warez-bb.org/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img] .
Note: You should know your system’s configuration well enough before you install. If you are unsure, manually find out: the chipset, the soundcard, the videocard, etc through your system manufacturer or motherboard specifications. These are required in order to choose and install the proper drivers from the Customization part of the Leopard Install.

Once you're in the graphical installer, the first screen lets you choose your language. Click the button in the bottom-right corner to continue.

On the next screen, click “continue” on your bottom left. Then, agree to the terms and conditions.

Next you will be prompted to select the drive you want to install Leopard onto. BEFORE CLICKING CONTINUE ON THIS SCREEN, go to DISK UTILITY (see photo below)

Wait a little while and the Disk Utility should load.

On this page, select the drive you are going to install Leopard on. If you have more than one drives in your computer, choose carefully, so you don’t re-partition/format (erase) another drive you might have important data on which may potentially become destroyed if you carelessly proceed. Once you have selected, go to the Partition tab.

Select a partitioning scheme from the Volume Scheme drop-down. Enter a name for the volume, in the Name field and choose Mac OS Extended (Journaled) in the Format drop-down (if not already chosen by default).
Don’t press APPLY yet. There is one more thing to do. Below the partitioning scheme area, there is the OPTIONS button. Click it and a screen like below will appear:

On this screen you can choose the partition scheme appropriate for you.
* If you plan to multiboot, Master Boot Record option is highly recommended.
* If you plan to have a single boot with no other foreign partitions (like Windows, Linux etc), GUID is fine.
* However, in any case, MBR is recommended. You can try both to see what suits you (of course, you have to do two installs for that ☺).
Once you are done choosing, click OK. Then click Apply.
After Disk Utility finishes applying your options, you could, from the left side menu, select the partition of the drive you just created, and click on the Erase tab and erase it (assuring that no older data exists). Before you erase make sure the Mac OS Extended (Journaled) format is highlighted on the list. Once you're done with everything here, close the Disk Utility from the CLOSE icon in the top-left side.

Your setup will be appearing again at the 'Select a Destination' screen. Choose partition you just created with Mac OS (Journaled) and click Continue.

On the 'Install Summary' DO NOT CLICK INSTALL YET! We need to customize our installation first to assure that everything works flawlessly. Therefore, click the Customize button.

Here we are presented a consistent list of options. We'll try to go through the most important ones.
First, you are presented with a series of kernels to choose from. For Intel users, you have an option to install ether the Vanilla Kernel 9.2.0 or 9.2.2. For AMD users, you can choose between Kernel-9.2.0, Kernel-9.2.2-Sleep, and Kernel-9.2.2. It is usually recommended for AMD users to choose Kernel 9.2.2.
Now, open up the Third Party Drivers tree-list, and below, the Chipset Audio Driver install options will appear.

You need to pick the driver that suits your PC`s chipset. The options are (quoted from the Leo4all v3.nfo file):
Chipset Drivers:
(NOTE- JMicron is the only driver that always installs so please choose at least 1 option, some will have to choose 2 [if you have Marvell IDE and Intel SATA for example]) There are only 6 choices here.
NForce Old - This is the older version of Medevils NForce(1.0.2) driver. Install this if you have issues with SATA enabled causing a panic. Known to work for some Nforce3 users.
NForce Test- If you have a SATA DVD or do not have issues booting the DVD normally chooses the NForceTest.
SiliconImage3132 - I have not found anyone that uses this specific chipset to confirm if it works.
VIA, SiS, Marvell and SB - Please install this if you are using any of these chipsets. If you have a Marvell IDE drive please install this as they should be supported. I have added many ID's here so I hope they all work! This choice installs AppleVIAATA, AppleOnboardPCATA and AppleGenericPCATA. Confirmed working for SiS!
SAS - By request I added support for this, as of my writing this its untested. Hopefully it works.
Intel ICHx- If you have ICH7/8/9 chipsets you should install this. This is the modified version by -Dune- to support more than 2 drives and fix the over 2Gigs of RAM panics.
After this, its time for Audio. Again, you should know what audio card you have in your system. And choose, based on the information presented below:
ALC850/882/883/888/889
AC97Audio
ADI1988
STAC9271
AzaliaAudio
If you are not sure what chipset you have, please choose AzaliaAudio (for most HD) or AC97Audio. Both audio chipsets work quite well as defaults with other noncompliant devices.
Now, onto Graphic Drivers.

Expand the group that represents your video card manufacturer (ATI, NVIDIA, GMA950, GMAX3100 – last 2 are from Intel) and choose the driver that suits your video card.

NVIDIA- I have updated the drivers to the latest available from the Mac Pro's and edited to include all Device ID's I could verify. This should cover mostly all 6***/7***/8*** series cards.
NVinject- By request I have added options for different version of NVinject(0.1.3/0.2.0/0.2.1). If your not sure choose version 0.2.1 with the proper amount of RAM your video card.
GMA950- QE/CI+resolution change with some artifacts
GMA950- No Artifacts QE/CI but no resolution.
GMAX3100- suppose to give QE/CI(confirmed for device ID 0x2a02)
Networking drivers:
ForceDeth- This is compatible with most NForce LAN.
ForceDeth-V - This is compatible with most NForce LAN(recommended version)
Skge - Driver for most Marvell LAN cards.
RTL8187- Just as it says for Realtek 8187
Zydas USB- For the USB Wireless LAN adapter
Tiger IO80211- Some Atheros cards require this Tiger version to work. Default install is IO80211 from 10.5.2
Broadcom- WLAN driver for BCM4306/4309/4318/4320/4324
RT2500- Suppose to support DLink WMP54G v4.0, may support some others.
ViaRhine- Just as it says, for ViaRhine chipsets
Intel 100Pro VE- Just as it says, for the Intel 100Pro VE chipset
RT2860- Driver for some chipsets like WL-181, may also work on some others.
Now, before proceeding to the installation, revise your options once again, and make sure that you have everything covered. Then click OK, and INSTALL. If everything goes well, after the installation finishes and the computer reboots, the POST-install screen will greet you. Go through the few steps and complete the setup. If you are uncomfortable with registering you play instead chose to skip the registration by simply pressing Command-Q. This should ignore the registration part of the post-installation.
