开机占CPU使用率的进程集合（个人收集）

一，UserEventAgent进程
在测试cpu变频的时候，因为这个进程，每次开机后十分钟之内都一直100%，第一让cpu频率无法变动，或者变动非常小，第二就是因为cpu频率一直最大，发热量很大。
所以在网上寻找解决方法，论坛里找了一圈发现很少人有这些问题，但是还是有几个的，不管怎么样，有问题就试着解决，最后找到了解决方法。

I saw this output of a list of files attached to this process, so I thought, what if I delete one?
/System/Library/UserEventPlugins/AppleHIDMouseAgent.plugin/Contents/MacOS/AppleH IDMouseAgent

This seemed to be the driver for an non-apple mouse, a HID (Human Interface Device) USB driver

This is what the driver contains, opening it in Coda:
System/Library/Frameworks/IOKit.framework (Wasn't that for reading CPU temp?)
HIDHotPlugHandler (Plug USB mouse in, and turn CPU up?)
HIDUnplugHandler (Unplugging USB mouse, and put CPU down?)
com.apple.AppleHIDMouseAgent (That's the drivers name)

I don't know this all, and if it was needed. SO I just deleted the AppleH IDMouseAgent.plugin, and everything is working fine now! Even the apple magic mouse is still working.
(ACTUALLY I DON'T DELETED THE PLUGIN, I JUST MOVED IT TO MY DOCUMENTS FOLDER, JUST IN CASE...)

I hope this helps, and could this have any concequences? Apple does NOT include plugins that can just be deleted, I guess?

HIDHotPlugHandler (USB鼠标插进去，就让CPU频率猛增?)
HIDUnplugHandler (不插进去USB鼠标，就让CPU频率降下来?)
com.apple.AppleHIDMouseAgent (这个是驱动的名字)
我不知道他们是否都需要，所以我只是删除了AppleHIDMouseAgent.plugin，但是所有的都能够正常工作！，甚至苹果Magic鼠标也能正常工作。
我希望这个有效，但是这个有什么后果么？我猜除了这个插件之外都不可以被删除。

解决办法:

把System/Library/UserEventPlugins/AppleHIDMouseAgent.plugin/Contents/MacOS/AppleHIDMouseAgent删除，重启就没有UserEventAgent这个进程吃CPU频率了。

二，AAM Updates Notifier进程

有些安装了PS的童鞋一般开机的时候会有这个进程，这是adobe的一个检查更新的进程，虽然开机的时间停几分钟就没有了，但是毕竟没有什么用，所以就不必可怜它啦。


解决办法:


plist 位于 /Library/LaunchAgents 和  ~/Library/LaunchAgentsand 里面，删除com.adobe.AAM.Updater-1.0.plist就OK了

三，mdworker进程
这个进程很常见，但是关掉就要关掉spotlight，所以不建议，但是如果真的希望关掉，方法在下面

mdworker是“metadata server worker（元数据服务器处理）”

什么是mdworker？
mdworker是spotlight的一部分，是mac的基础搜索引擎。

mdworker让cpu拖慢，占用到60%？
是的，mdworker有时候会导致Mac速度变慢，同时高CPU占用，这是完全正常的，你应该让它运行到结束，这时候cpu占用就恢复正常了。

mdworker要花多长时间才能完成进程？
这完全取决于你的mac文件系统最后一次索引大量的新文件（我个人在这理解为是有新文件等产生，文件系统便会进行索引），如果你只是插入一个外接硬盘，那么就期盼它处理一小会，对于mdworker来说，15分钟到多于一个小时都不是特别大量的时间。

我可以杀掉这个进程么？我杀掉了会有什么后果？
你不可以杀掉这个进程，因为他在执行一个索引mac内容的服务，如果你杀掉它，你的Mac文件系统就无法完整索引，同时搜索能力将会大幅度减少直到mdworker重新运行，或者完整索引，杀掉它没有什么大问题，就是不建议。

我怎么样停止mdworker或者关闭mdworker？
我来说吧，就是mdworker不建议关闭，因为如果要关闭mdworker，就需要关闭spotlight，但是如果真的想要关闭，方法在下面。



关闭spotlight：
1，在终端命令:

1. sudo nano /etc/hostconfig

复制代码

2，找到”SPOTLIGHT=-YES-”改成“SPOTLIGHT=-NO-”，如果没有的话就在后面加上“SPOTLIGHT=-NO-”
3，按control+O保存，然后control+x退出nano编辑器
4，关闭索引，在终端输入：

1. mdutil -i off /

复制代码

5，同时抹去spotlight索引：

1. mdutil -E /

复制代码

6，重启系统，spotlight就完整的关闭了


如果想重新启动spotlight的话：
1，按照上面的1步骤，只不过把”SPOTLIGHT=-NO-”改成“SPOTLIGHT=-YES-”
2，终端输入：

1. mdutil -i on /

复制代码

3，重启系统，就开启了



修复损坏的spotlight：
spotlight有问题的也可以参考解决spotlight三种不工作的情况:


1),spotlight菜单高亮,但是却无搜索的行为
2),spotlight有搜索行为,却不显示任何结果
3),spotlight有结果,但是 很少,不完全


解决办法:
方法一：杀掉"SystemUIServerI"进程
打开活动监视器,然后把"SystemUIServer"进程退出,过一会状态栏便会重建,一般情况下,spotlight就会正常。


方法二：手动重建spotlight索引
1，终端输入：

1. sudo mdutil -E /

复制代码

2，然后输入密码，一般情况要求管理员权限才能执行3，然后会提示你索引将会重建，等待它完成重建，时间的长短取决于硬盘大小，文件数量等
提示：你也可以通过MainMenu工具重建spotlight索引

方法三：更改桌面分辨率
这个方法适用于：点击spotlight后，没有显示搜索框
这个问题比较少见，这个文章的笔者出现这个状况，有童鞋出现这个问题也可以参考
方法就是打开显示器设置，里面更改分辨率，更改为小于你当前的分辨率，640×480一般就会正常工作了，然后重新恢复原来的分辨率，然后spotlight就会正常。


方法四：清除caches和preferences
这个方法是清除spotlight的caches和preferences，最好是用MainMenu或者OnyX（工具在下面），一般建议MainMenu，因为简易一些
使用方法：安装MainMenu后，图标会出现在状态栏，然后点击“Cleaning”把User Cache, System Cache, and Font Caches不同种类的缓存清理掉


方法五：重启mac
有些时候重启就会修复spotlight，但是尽可能的避免重启，重启是不大好的办法


最后普及一下mds和mdworker和spotlight的行为关系，哈哈，搞基关系，开玩笑！
mds进程和mdworker进程一般情况下是在spotlight索引的时候同时运行的，让这些进程运行完成是和mac文件系统搜索索引是有很大的关系的。

哦，抱歉，我看错了，我看成mdworker进程了，spotlight的索引问题的话有许多的教程去优化，但是mdx进程，我没有见过呢，能够告诉我么，我去研究研究

我也抱歉下，打错了，是 mds 进程，只要 spotlight 在索引中，就会有个进程占用 CPU 100%，不过这是系统正常进程，下面是缓解方式：

spotlight

i can confirm that there are issues with spotlight hogging the cpu under certain circumstances. in particular, the mds (metadata) process and mdimport process can eat up a huge chunk of available cpu and ram. upwards of 80% at times, causing a very noticeable slowdown on even the fastest of machines.

a quick search for "mds cpu" in the 10.4 discussions over at apple shows that a number of users are dealing with the same issue. here is what i did to fix the problem and some thoughts on possible causes. first the fix:

1) using the mdutil command-line utility in terminal, turn off indexing for each of your drives.
1) 使用终端的 mdutil 命令关闭每个驱动器的索引。
example:

$ sudo mdutil -i off /volumes/your_hard_drive_name_1
$ sudo mdutil -i off /volumes/your_hard_drive_name_2

2) then use mdutil to remove the indexes from each drive
2) 然后再使用 mdutil 命令移除每个驱动器的索引文件

$ sudo mdutil -e /volumes/your_hard_drive_name_1
$ sudo mdutil -e /volumes/your_hard_drive_name_2

3) physically remove the .spotlight directories from the root of each drive.
3) 物理方式移除每个驱动器根目录的 .spotlight 目录

$ cd /
$ sudo rm -fr .spotlight-v100

(do the same for your second or third drive) be careful with that rm command! one typo could ruin your day.

4) use mdutil again to turn indexing back on for each drive
4)再次使用命令 mdutil 开启每个设备的索引

$ sudo mdutil -i on /volumes/your_hard_drive_name_1
$ sudo mdutil -i on /volumes/your_hard_drive_name_2

5) spotlight will now re-index all drives and should behave in a normal fashion. (no longer uses 60%-80% of your cpu)

finally a couple of quick thoughts on possible causes:

my initial indexing process after installing tiger was interrupted by a couple of reboots i had to do while installing third-party apps. this may have left me with a funky index when spotlight tried to pick up where it had left off. i suggest letting it fully index your drives before rebooting the machine at all.
a few users in the discussions over at apple noticed that they had files on their hard drive with modification dates after the current date. i.e. days/months/weeks into the future. these files may have been causing spotlight to choke as it tried to make sense of a date that hadn't happened yet.
i did a quick search for files modified "after" today and found a handful of them on my hard drive. (a few were dated 2031!) i used the touch command in terminal to give these proper dates. if you have a lot of these files, you might want to create and automator script to touch them all for you.

hope this saves some of you a headache or two.
