新的平板模式开始屏幕——卡，慢，丑不丑无所谓
这种现象在 Bay Trail 处理器驱动的平板电脑上尤为明显。缓慢地划动开始屏幕，CPU 使用率直接升到了 30% 上下，而一划到底时，CPU 使用率更是达到了 60% 关头。作为对比，在划动无比流畅的 8.1 开始屏幕上划屏，无论是侧着划，倒着划，上下划，缩放划，CPU 使用率几乎就没有超过20%的，还能保持 60fps 的流畅。
我是 1280*800 屏幕分辨率，尚且还可以接受在 40fps 左右的划动帧率，但这已经是大不如 8.1 时代的 60fps 不掉帧的流畅了，更别提 W10 的所有应用界面，划屏卡顿感让人仿佛回到了安卓 2.2 的抽屉界面。。而那些 1920*1200 分辨率的一水 Z3735F/36F 处理器芯片的平板电脑，划屏更是史无前例的卡顿，时时刻刻都能把人逼疯。
第一印象分不及格，连背影女神都当不成。

没有任何操作和手动启动的后台，却隔几秒就飙升的CPU使用率？
不得不说 W10 的确增加了很多新功能，于是服务项和进程项也随之变多，这我也认了，一分钱办一分事我也满足了。可是你 CPU 使用率动不动隔三差五地就突然飙升到 30% 出头是什么意思？帮我同步 OneDrive 文件？还是更新后台磁贴？还是偷偷地向 NSA 传输什么数据？
想测试下新系统视频播放的平台功耗结果发现不正常，原来是毫无节操的后台任务搞的鬼。想好好地静下心来看一部小电影，结果本来就不太耐糙的电池却在视频解码与此起彼伏的后台任务的双重折磨下筋疲力尽，未老先衰，早早地被插上了菊花。
W8.1 都没敢像你那么嚣张。

要说 W10 优点有很多，然而有一点缺点在下实在是难以忍受。请问这句“但如果关闭时间较长，我们会自动重新起用它”是什么意思？好不容易找到了不用 gpedit.msc 导入了国内毒瘤全家桶的证书的方法，拒绝了三溜灵和疼逊全家，结果自家人开始学习国内毒瘤接地气了！？这个弹簧一样的选项，放在这里配上那句话，是用来浪费人类能量的吗？强行自动更新我能忍，强制开启防护软件我不能忍，这在无形中又增加了系统的负担，是给本来就苟延残喘电池的雪上加霜。
大部分 Win 平板预装的都是普通版或 Bing 版，没有专业版和企业版等才有的组策略管理器。想要彻底禁用 Windows Defender，方法之一是改注册表，然而我暂时没有找到相关的键值；方法之二是删文件，担心破坏系统完整性。还请远景的大神相助。

为什么你的笔记本或平板电脑风扇不时转转转（无风扇请让开），为什么 C 面或 D 面摸起来是这样烫烫烫烫烫？不仅是因为毫无节操的后台任务捣鬼，很大程度上更是因为这半成品的 Intel 集成显卡驱动。
说是为 W10 正式版准备的新驱动，结果却跟所谓的没有 RTM 一样地不靠谱。罪魁祸首的 DRAM Power 居高不下，让我这台本来闲置续航能达到将近 17 小时的 UX305 硬生生地缩减到了 可怜的 7 小时，差距之大让我差点以为我用的不是同一台笔记本。请注意这只是闲置状态下的续航，工作状态下的续航只有可怜的 4-5 小时。从睡眠恢复工作，有极大地机率闪屏瞬移出现黑条，差点还以为屏幕坏了，赶紧暂时卸载显卡驱动压压惊。

——评 Edge 浏览器后台不 Suspend 机制
喜欢磁贴版本的 IE11，就是因为一旦它被切换到后台就会自动被冻结的机制。一旦遇到坑爹的网页，直接切换到后台，几秒钟后便丝毫不会影响到系统的整体性能。然而 W10 新的浏览器 Edge，连平板模式下后台 Suspend 机制都被去除了，在桌面模式下更不用说了（感谢@依文 指正）。据说其开发者还美名其曰为了让用户在后台也能播放音乐，我口丕
如果 Edge 是像 iOS 上 Safari 一样的后台机制的话，那我是要好好地赞美一下的。然而我确实是想太多了，现实很残酷。不仅仅是 HTML5 的 <video> 和 <audio>，连 Flash 的视频和广告也会在后台一同播放。难道这是要逼我在最小化网页的时候聆听林子聪那嘹亮的嗓音吗？
然而这些并不足以说明对电池续航的影响。Flash之所以成为了电池杀手，并非空穴来风，请看如下对比：

高下立判。这是在 Core M 平台上测试的数据。在 Bay Trail 平台上测试的数据，差距更大。
关于 iOS 上 Safari 是如何后台播放网页上的音乐的，我就不多说了。这和乔老爷子的远见卓识密切相关。

New Start Screen in Tablet Mode – Slow, Laggy. Whether it’s beautiful or not is off the topic.
This phenomenon is extremely obvious on Bay Trail platform (Z37xx series @intel). When you slowly touch and move on the new Start Screen, the CPU usage increases to about 30%, and when rapidly swiping your finger to the top or the bottom, the CPU usage increases to above 60%, an incredibly high level, which is unimaginable during the Windows 8.1 experience. In Windows 8.1, no matter how hard you try to make trouble on the Start Screen, the CPU usage hardly goes up over 20%.
My tablet (@Dell) has a 1280x800 resolution but only getting about 40fps when swiping on the Start Screen, which for me is reluctantly acceptable but I still miss the super smooth 60fps experience in Windows 8.1. However, for those whose tablets have a 1920x1200 resolution (for example, Yoga 2 @Lenovo), the experience with Windows 10 will become unbearable painful because even switching among windows is super laggy, not to mention the touch experience.
That problem is very likely to make someone mad from time to time.
(I have got the newest version of Intel HD Graphics driver so don't bother saying that.)
Why the CPU usage ghostly goes up from time to time without an operation or any background applications manually started by me?
I have to admit there are many new features in Windows 10, many of which are my favorite. I don’t really mind the new added services or processes running in the background as long as they provide good services for me. What I really care is why the CPU usage frequently or ghostly shoots up to above 30% even when I do not have any operations or applications manually started by myself. Is the system syncing my OneDrive files or sending some important files to NSA?
This problem becomes serious when I tested the platform power consumption during video playback. The result is abnormally high maybe due to that reason. Imagining that you just want to enjoy some movies to kill the time but the battery drains fast under the pressure and torment of video decoding and heavy background tasks. I’m a little excited.
In this way, Windows 8.1 does much better than Windows 10.
Wanting you (Defender) to get off, but you are the master and I’m not Pro.
These days I’m always struggling with a monster, and its name is Windows Defender. To disable Real Time Protection in Home version of Windows 10, every fresh start I have to go to settings, move the little “spring” and worry about when it will bounce back. I just don’t want the Defender draining my poor battery but it seems so hard.
Most Windows tablets install Home or Bing version of Windows, so there is no such thing called gpedit.msc. Maybe there is a way through regedit but I cannot find the key.
Is it really a stable driver for RTM? Go eat some sh1t please, Intel.
(No Fanless here) Why is your laptop’s or tablet’s fan always running? Aside from the heavy background tasks, the unstable broken or s**t Intel HD Graphics driver is the culprit, causing DRAM Power goes very high.
A bloody example is here. My UX305 can easily get 17 hour battery life when idle in Windows 8.1 using old version of graphics driver, but only remains 7 hours after upgrading to Windows 10, using 7/17 driver. What’s worse, when the laptop is awake from sleep state, the display is very likely to flick and become unreadable.
Maybe power companies are showing their grace.

One reason I like Immersive IE 11 is that once I meet an unresponsive webpage, I can just switch to other apps, leaving IE suspended in the background without affecting the stability and responsiveness of the whole system.
However, the newest browser, Microsoft Edge, doesn’t seem to have that feature when your free memory is big enough. Originally I wished Edge could learn something from Safari on iOS, only playing HTML5 video or audio in the background. But the reality sucks.
When playing the same video through a Flash player, the CPU usage is about 11%. While using the HTML5 video player, the CPU usage is lowered to 4%. Not only Flash sucks my battery, Edge too.
