An active southerly airstream is bringing rainy weather to the south China coastal areas. Locally, there were thundery showers this morning. Showers were heavier in Tsing Yi and Tsuen Wan. Up to 9 a.m., more than 30 millimetres of rainfall were recorded in these regions.

Cloudy with occasional rain. Rain will be heavy at times with a few squally thunderstorms. Moderate southerly winds.
